12 participated companies bagged Visionary Award at AWFS

Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers® (AWFS®) is reissuing a list of 12 winning companies that have been awarded a Visionary New Product Award by AWFS® for product innovation and leadership in the woodworking industry.

According to Angelo Gangone, executive vice president, AWFS®, “Due to a technical issue, the list provided during the award ceremony was incomplete.Unfortunately, this mistake on ourpart, was noticed too late to properly acknowledge the winning exhibitors and to these companies, we offer our most sincere apologies.”

The two winning products that were not acknowledged during the ceremony included:

Productivity Award for Hardware
Lockdowel “Snap On” Drawer Slides/LOCKDOWEL

Product Innovation Award in raw materials
AKF with Rombex Technology/Uneeda

The Visionary New Product Awards recognize creativity and innovation as well as leadership in green/environmental product development. Entries are evaluated on quality, production impact, practicality, innovation and user-friendliness.

This year’s awards chosen by a panel of hand-selected judges are representing various areas of the industry including professional end-users woodworkers and company owners, were announced at the 2017 AWFS Fair.  One can find the entire list of winners at the official site of AWFS.
