Cefla North America to enlighten on latest finishing technology

 Thursday, January 21, 2016

_cefla_ilearn copyCefla North America is preparing to give its customers and prospects a four-month head start on learning about the industry’s latest-and-greatest finishing technologies. Instead of waiting for the IWF Show in Atlanta in August, manufacturers and other industry leaders can come to Charlotte April 27 to 28 for Cefla’s Spring I-learn event and see a wide variety of leading-edge technologies that are new to the North American market.

The learning-focused open house at Cefla’s new 150,000-square-feet lab, the most comprehensive finishing lab in North America, is being held the same week as the 2016 NWFA Wood Flooring Expo in Charlotte, enabling people to maximize their travel time and budgets by visiting both sites. The i-learn event is open to everyone interested in learning more about how automated finishing can help them capitalize on increasing market demand for customization and personalization in flooring and other products in the years to come.

Cefla_Live_09-10-2014_0124 copy“Coming to our lab in April will be especially valuable for anyone who did not go to Ligna or the AWFS Show, but wants to get up-to-speed on industry advances quickly,” says Brent Warren, Cefla North America Sales Manager. “There’s just no substitute for seeing new technologies in person and talking to experts about machine capabilities one-on-one.” He added further. Along with other leading-edge equipment, the lab will showcase Cefla’s Inert Coating technology by Sorbini and the new Pixart Plot large format printer for the first time in North America.

Customers interested in finishing for melamine, will be able to see firsthand how combining Henkel’s TECHNOMELT CHS UV Fusion Coating Technology and Cefla’s Inert technology speeds the process of creating a high-gloss as well as lower gloss finishes. Throughout the two-day event, they can also learn from product engineers and specialists and fully experience the capabilities of other innovative finishing equipment by participating in demos ranging from spraying, to printing, to vacuum coating. Cefla expects visitors to be eager to see the extremely versatile CFS or Compact Flooring System and find out how it helps manufacturers grow business without vast floor extensions.

As added incentive for attending the I-learn event, participants will receive free passes to the IWF Show in Atlanta so they can learn even more about finishing innovations in August.
