U.S. customers are beginning to demand more advanced, energy-efficient, architecturally-significant, windows and doors. To help one discover the latest advances in this complex marketplace, Leitz Tooling has arranged a weeklong Technology Tour coinciding with the world’s largest trade event focusing on windows and doors. The Leitz tour takes place March 13 to19, with a two-day visit to FensterbauFrontale, in Nuremberg, Germany, in the middle of the week.
As a major supplier of tooling to this critical market, Leitz has arranged for you to see new designs and processing techniques in action at both small and large production facilities. A tour of the Leitz design, technology and manufacturing center is also included.
“Circumstances have forced the European marketplace to make great progress in regard to resources and sustainability; faster than many stateside companies,” says Mike Lind, Leitz CEO for U.S. operations. “This is particularly true in the window and door segments. The tour and FensterbauFrontaleare great ways to learn a lot in a short time.” He remarked.
