Microvellum is moving their Extruded Technology to Private Beta

 Tuesday, March 8, 2016

EPB_CurvedReception_AllMicrovellum Inc., the leading cabinet and manufacturing software provider, announced that’s it’s new Extruded Product Builder Technology is moving to Private Beta 1 status on March 11, 2016.

Microvellum has developed a new, AutoCAD-based, visual design solution for quickly building custom nurses stations, bench seating, kitchen bars, hotel reception areas or other custom diewall products. Over the last several months, the new new Extruded Product Builder tool has gone through major enhancements aiming to improve the overall user interface and workflow. This new tool enables users to build products quickly, without requiring to complicated math to calculate complex angles or even using a single Excel formula.

The new Extruded Product Builder (EPB) technology is built on their Solid Modeling Analyzer engine and is the first of many new custom “Product Builders” slated for development later this year. The EPB module will be included in their Enterprise tier products and available as an add-on to lower tiered products.

The next milestone will be the release of Extruded product Builder as Open Beta, which will be an upgrade version of the one issued for Private Beta testing, and will include additional features. At Microvellum’s upcoming User Group Conference (Techcon 2016) in April, attendees will be able to experience the latest release of the Extruded Product Builder.
