New Members At SCA Resulting Expansion Of The Firm

SCASCA Timber Supply Ltd has announced its new members in the senior posts as a result of expansion of the company.

 

Neil Jones has joined SCA Timber Supply as Operations Director, bringing with him expertise from senior operational roles at both Wolseley and Saint Gobain.

 

Simon Price has joined as Senior Operations Project Resource, from the business logistics management at SCA’s hygiene products operations in Manchester.

 

Neil Morris, with many years’ expertise across joinery manufacturing, takes over SCA’s Industrial Component Sales from Simon Thurman, who is now Key Account Manager at SCA for the Wickes account.

 

Barry Day, formerly with another large softwood importer, has joined SCA as Purchasing & QA Manager.
Lynsey Biddle has joined SCA Timber Supply as HR Manager.

 

Amy Sellers, from a joinery background, brings marketing and social media experience to a new role at SCA as Marketing Executive.
SCA Timber includes five sawmills, wood-processing units, distribution and wholesale operations. The total production of solid-wood products amounts to 2.1 million cubic meters.

 

The product programme includes for example, furniture material, solid-wood flooring material, window material, door frames, panelling, cladding, decking/garden timber and building/construction timber. Even the byproducts from the sawmills, sawdust, bark and chips, gain new application areas as heating pellets, biofuel and as raw material to new products within the pulp and paper industry.
