Biesse Group is very excited to welcome Silvia Vanini, as their new Chief Organization and HR Officer to the Biesse Group Charlotte Campus. Silvia, a big believer in “valuing the beauty of differences” among people and cultures, will be working with Elizabeth Valentin, Biesse Group’s North America HR Manager and the North America HR Team to facilitate workshops to strengthen our strategies for taking care of people and processes.
Biesse Group welcomes in its leadership team Silvia Vanini in the role of Chief Organization & HR Officer of the Group, and she will act as a reference point for every need related to Human Capital in the company. “We are excited about the arrival of Silvia, who, thanks to her experience in industrial companies as well as in Italy’s leading HR consulting company, will guide Biesse Group towards a new One Company organizational model, ensuring the alignment of HR policies and the necessary support to the Management Team “said Roberto Selci, CEO of Biesse Group, a listed company specialized in technological solutions for processing wood, glass, stone, plastic and metal.
Through this entry, the Group intends to reaffirm and consolidate the attention dedicated to its people, the true heart of production excellence, in the belief that growth and economic success can be continuous only if supported by specific development plans and skills refinement .
Marco Valerio Morelli, Managing Director of Mercer Italia reiterates: “For Mercer Italia it is an honor that valuable figures, whom we have seen accomplish a successful path in our company, are disputed on the market. We consider it a certificate of merit: the national economic system identifies us as a partner of the industrial system of which Biesse Group, a “pocket multinational” company – that is, an Italian medium-sized company now recognized on international markets – is an excellent representative “.
During her career Silvia has always collaborated with top managers of international companies, helping them to expand and strengthen their sphere of influence and performance through the development and implementation of people management strategies and change management plans. Before her experience at Mercer, a company of which she was a Partner, Talent Strategy Leader and a Member of the Leadership Team in Italy, Silvia could boast different experiences as HR consultant and top executive in the Human Resources department.
Silvia has a degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Padua and a doctorate from the Escuela Superior de Psicodrama (Mexico).
