Cabinets & Closets/Wood Pro Expo Texas announces new date in June

 Monday, March 16, 2020

Cabinets & Closets/Wood Pro Expo Texas that was scheduled from March 11, has been postponed due to the sudden outbreak of novel coronavirus, will now happen from June 10. The organisers have rescheduled the show in June and it will take place at Texas from June 10-12, 2020. “We are pleased to announce that the event will proceed in its original format for all participants,” said Tim Fixmer, president and CEO of CCI Media, which owns and manages the event. CCI Media is the parent company of Woodworking Network.

“Cabinets & Closets Conference and Expo and Wood Pro Expo are unique entities serving very specialized segments of our industry. There is really no other option for our registered attendees and exhibitors to engage in such a focused approach as they will have with this event. We are relieved that the hotel, the Arlington Convention Center and the AT&T stadium facility could all accommodate the move to early June of this year. We applaud their ability and willingness to engage in fast, decisive action to meet our needs,” said Fixmer.

“In the near future we will reach out to all participants to reconfirm their registrations, exhibit space and to answer all questions they may have. We continue to monitor the effects of the coronavirus outbreak as the health and safety of our attendees, presenters, exhibitors and all employees that work the show are our top priority,” he said.

Barry Moltz, whose keynote was originally scheduled for March 11, has confirmed his participation for the new dates. Moltz and Cabinets & Closets publisher, Laurel Didier, conducted a webcast on March 11 titled, “Keeping Your Pipeline Full, Closing Sales and Marketing for Your Future,” to give original registrants a small taste of the programming in place for the event.

According to Fixmer, “further details will be forthcoming as we respond to this rapidly changing crisis. The Woodworking Network is taking all steps possible to make the transition to the new dates as easy and seamless as possible for attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors.”
