Floor & Decor, a leading retailer specializing in high-quality hard-surface flooring for both homeowners and professionals, has announced the grand opening of its newest store and design center in Dearborn, Michigan. The store, located at 1300 Shehadi Court, aims to provide local residents and professionals with an extensive range of flooring options and expert services.
The Dearborn store is staffed by a team of approximately 35 full-time employees and 15 part-time associates, all under the leadership of Wesley Walker, the storeβs Chief Executive Merchant. This new location is part of Floor & Decorβs broader expansion strategy, which includes more than 260 warehouse-format stores and design studios nationwide.
“Our team is thrilled to open this new store in Dearborn and be part of such a dynamic community,” said Walker. “This location will enhance our ability to serve local homeowners and professionals with top-notch flooring products, great value, and expert guidance to bring their projects to life.”
To commemorate the grand opening, Floor & Decor will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. ET. The event will be held in partnership with the Dearborn Chamber of Commerce and will mark the official start of operations for the new store. Local residents and businesses are encouraged to attend the celebration.
In addition to the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Floor & Decor will host an exclusive networking event for professionals in the flooring and home renovation industries. The event, called the PRO Industry Networking Event, will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. ET. Local professionals, including contractors, renovators, and installers, will have the opportunity to meet with the on-site PRO Services Team and supplier representatives.
“Supporting the professional community is a key priority for us,” said Walker. “When our PROs succeed, we succeed, and we’re excited to offer them the tools, services, and rewards they need to grow their businesses.”
As part of the grand opening celebration, Floor & Decor is also giving away a $5,000 floor makeover. Entries will be accepted from December 26, 2025, through February 25, 2026. The lucky winner will receive a $5,000 gift card to be used for flooring and related products at the new Dearborn store.
To add to the excitement, the Dearborn store will host a family-friendly Super Saturday event on January 17, 2026, from 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. ET. The event will feature a variety of local businesses, including Lama’s Florist, which will offer succulent arrangements, and Dearborn Sweets, which will provide free cannolis, éclairs, tarts, Neapolitans, and cakes to the first 200 customers.
During the Super Saturday event, attendees can participate in Floor & Decor’s popular Crack the Code game. The first 200 participants to correctly enter a five-digit code will have a chance to win a $100,000 grand prize. The game is sure to be a crowd favourite, and everyone is encouraged to join in on the fun.
Floor & Decor’s new Dearborn store will offer a wide selection of in-stock hard-surface flooring, including tile, wood, laminate, vinyl, and natural stone, as well as decorative accessories, wall tiles, installation materials, and other related products. The store will operate at everyday low prices, making it an affordable option for homeowners and professionals alike.
