Forte Opening Solutions has announced the appointment of Graham Thayer as its new Chief Executive Officer. With over 25 years in the building materials industry, Thayer brings extensive expertise in architecturally specified commercial openings and a proven track record of leading high-performance product lines that fuel profitable growth.
Prior to Forte’s 2024 rebranding from Masonite Architectural, Thayer served as senior vice president and business leader of Masonite Architectural from 2016 to 2020. During that period, he successfully spearheaded multiple strategic acquisitions and expanded the company’s footprint through innovative, architecturally specified product offerings. More recently, Thayer was the managing partner at Rondeau Partners, a strategic advisory firm focused on manufacturing operational and commercial growth.
Tom Ninneman, Chairman of Forte, praised Thayer’s appointment: “Graham’s deep understanding of the commercial openings sector and his value-driven leadership are perfectly aligned with Forte’s vision. We are confident his customer-first approach will elevate Forte’s reputation for architectural door excellence.”
Under Thayer’s leadership, Forte aims to accelerate its growth trajectory by leveraging product innovation and strengthening key partnerships. The company serves markets including education, healthcare, hospitality, and institutional environments, offering a comprehensive range of commercial door systems and components.
Thayer commented, “I’m excited to lead Forte into its next chapter, building on a legacy of craftsmanship and customer trust. Our focus will be on delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.”
