Marvin-Vivid collection

Marvin, a window and door maker, presents the Marvin Vivid collection, a new line of windows and doors created to address the industry’s evident demand for greater creative flexibility. Marvin ranked #13 on the FDMC 300 ranking. The collection boasts a streamlined design to suit a range of architectural styles and contains three window kinds and three door types, with further products to be introduced in 2026.

“The Vivid collection marks yet another milestone in Marvin’s legacy of innovation,” said Darrin Peterson, president of Marvin. “Built from customer insights, this collection rounds out our product portfolio to best serve the needs of architects, builders, and homeowners across the country.”

This collection offers large formats, up to 10 feet in height, and performance ratings up to PG50, as well as industry-leading color palettes, state-of-the-art hardware, durable frames, and features designed for ease of maintenance. The slim profile and carefully balanced proportions are specifically designed to blend seamlessly into transitional or contemporary homes. To achieve this, Marvin has developed a unique fiberglass-reinforced composite material specifically designed for the interior of Vivid windows. A feature of this material is that during manufacturing, a unique pultrusion process is used to create a variety of profiles ideal for interior sashes, frames, and sash caps. Combined with Marvin’s Ultrex fiberglass exterior, the Vivid collection offers superior durability, structural performance, low maintenance, and a clean aesthetic inside and out.

“Maintenance shouldn’t be an afterthought,” said Chris Hurd, senior director of product management at Marvin. “Every challenge the building community raised, from weather and installation to fit and finish, became a point of focus for our team. The result is a product that supports the builder’s process and improves the homeowner’s experience at an accessible price point.”

Vivid’s line of windows and doors meets or exceeds ENERGY STAR version 7.0 standards and offers double and triple-glazing, options for increased thermal efficiency. With this collection you can create spacious and bright spaces while meeting modern standards of comfort and environmental friendliness.

They asked what I liked about the Vivid collection, and I told them: bigger sizes, easier to install, cleaner look. Something that works for contemporary builds while staying within budget,” said Jack Harper, owner and project manager of Lakewood Construction in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. “Marvin listened to what builders need and has actually created it.”
