The Johnson Hardware brings 2060SC heavy-duty soft-close pocket door frame kit is purpose-built for high-end installations and oversized doors measuring up to 10 feet in height and weighing as much as 330 pounds. Designed for a 2×6 wall opening, the kit comes complete with a preassembled frame header, robust overhead track, all-steel split studs, high-capacity door hangers, integrated soft-close dampers, and all necessary mounting hardware—ensuring smooth operation, controlled closure, and long-term durability. The soft-close mechanism enhances functionality by minimizing noise and preventing slamming during both opening and closing.
A jump-proof design prevents the door from falling off the track, and a quick-release locking tab allows for door removal without tearing apart the wall. Self-adjusting floor brackets are designed to compensate for floor settling that may occur over time. Two door guide options – hidden and standard – are included in the kit for ease of installation.
Meanwhile, the companion 1515 Ply Clip set allows fast installation with 5/8″ plywood (not included)—supporting objects such as cabinetry and tile installed on the pocket door walls.
