Stiles Machinery to bring automation, CNC, mass timber and smart production solutions to IWF 2026

Stiles Machinery is preparing for a major return to the International Woodworking Fair in Atlanta, with a broad technology lineup aimed at woodworking manufacturers under pressure to do more with less.

The Grand Rapids, Michigan-based machinery supplier will exhibit at IWF 2026 from August 25 to 28 at the Georgia World Congress Center. Its main presence will be in Exhibit Hall B, at booths B4835 and B4853. The company will also join HOMAG Group partners in Hall A, booth A9840, for the Mass Timber and Prefabricated Construction Products Showcase.

For cabinet shops, furniture plants, millwork producers, solid wood processors and engineered wood manufacturers, the message is clear. Automation is no longer only for the largest operations. It is becoming a staged investment path for shops of all sizes.

Automation Takes Centre Stage for Growing Shops

Stiles plans to show more than 60 machines and technologies at the event. The lineup covers CNC routing, panel dividing, edgebanding, drilling, dowel insertion, sanding, finishing, veneering, robotics, digital production and solid wood processing.

That range matters. Many US woodworking businesses are still dealing with labour gaps, rising costs, tight delivery windows and increasing customisation. A three-person shop may need a compact CNC or vertical drilling machine. A multi-shift plant may need robotic handling, automated return systems and digital workflow control.

Stiles is positioning the exhibit as a practical roadmap. Manufacturers can start with one machine, then build toward higher output and better repeatability over time.

CNC and Drilling Solutions Target Floor Space and Flexibility

One of the headline machines will be the HOMAG CENTATEQ N-300 Classic. The nested-based CNC platform will debut at IWF in a version redesigned and customised in Grand Rapids for growing shops.

Stiles will also show the HOMAG DRILLTEQ V-310. This vertical CNC processing centre is built for drilling, routing and grooving in a compact footprint. For smaller shops, that is important. Floor space is money. A machine that adds capability without forcing a major plant redesign can change the economics of production.

The Greda SPRINTER 1212 R1CU will add a solid wood and complex machining angle. Its five interpolating axes support milling, drilling, mortising, tenoning and pantographing in a single cycle.

Panel Processing Moves Toward Labour Reduction

Panel dividing will be another key focus. Stiles will feature the HOMAG SAWTEQ S-300 with STORETEQ F-100, pairing a compact horizontal beam saw with single-gantry material handling.

The more advanced HOMAG SAWTEQ S-300 flexTec will speak to shops looking at unmanned batch-size-one cutting. This saw-and-robot hybrid is designed for high product variety. It also reduces manual handling, which remains one of the biggest bottlenecks in panel production.

Edgebanding Cells Show the Push Toward Complete Systems

In edgebanding, Stiles will show both compact and industrial options. The HOMAG EDGETEQ S-200 FC Auto targets shops that need quality edge processing in a smaller footprint.

At the higher-capacity end, the HOMAG EDGETEQ S-500 will be paired with a LOOPTEQ O-400 return system. Together, they form an automated edge cell built for throughput and reduced manual handling.

The Vector Contour Revolution 180 will also debut a redesigned coil assembly. It will allow internal cutouts down to 500 mm, while supporting faster band changes and more consistent quality.

Mass Timber Adds a New Growth Story

Stiles’ presence in the Mass Timber and Prefabricated Construction Products Showcase points to a wider industry shift. Cross-laminated timber, glulam and off-site wall panel construction are moving closer to mainstream manufacturing conversations.

With Kallesoe, System TM and WEINMANN, Stiles will highlight RF pressing, CLT and glulam press technology, and prefabricated wall panel systems. This gives manufacturers a view of how woodworking machinery is moving beyond furniture and cabinets into structural wood and off-site construction.

Why This Lineup Matters

IWF 2026 is not just another machinery show for Stiles. It is a signal of where the US woodworking industry is heading.

The strongest theme is not one machine or one category. It is connected growth. CNC, sawing, edgebanding, robotics, software and mass timber systems are being presented as parts of a larger production strategy.
