Woodgrain appoints Steve Prado as the Southwest region VP

In the distribution section of Woodgrain, a prominent producer of construction materials and millwork, Steve Prado got promoted to the position of vice president for the Southwest. The Woodgrain and Kelleher distribution centers in California and Hawaii are part of this recently created region.

Prado has a wealth of experience in the industry and brings a variety of knowledge to the position. He held a range of roles from salesperson to senior vice president over his 26 years with Orepac and the most recent 9 years with Kelleher. He and his spouse live in Ontario, California, and together they have a blended family consisting of five kids, one daughter, and Stogie, a cherished bulldog. “I am honored by the confidence and responsibility that Woodgrain has entrusted to me,” expressed Prado. He continued, “And excited to unite our businesses in California, while leveraging the incredible strength of Woodgrain’s value proposition for the benefit of our customers and employees.”

The chief operating officer of the distribution division, Ken Schmitt, responded,  “We are excited to have Steve in his new role and are confident that his experience and expertise in distribution will bring continued success and growth to our business in California and Hawaii.”
