Woodgrain expands production capacity with new Cefla prefinish line at distribution facility

Woodgrain Inc. has installed a new Cefla prefinish line at its distribution facility in Latrobe. The company said the advanced investment strengthens its finishing capabilities while reinforcing its commitment to innovation, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer service across Pennsylvania and the Northeastern United States.
The new Cefla line is designed to enhance Woodgrain Inc.’s prefinishing operations and support the continued growth of its Therma-Tru prefinished entry door business, particularly within the repair and remodeling (R&R) market segment. The line will feature Therma-Tru’s PrismaGuard finish, offering a durable, high-performance coating engineered to deliver lasting beauty and protection for customers seeking premium, ready-to-install door solutions.
“This investment strengthens our ability to serve customers with greater speed, consistency, and quality,” said Ray Mazur, regional sales manager. “The enhanced prefinishing capabilities allow us to better support our customers’ project needs while reducing lead times and improving overall product performance.” Ray added further.
Along with boosting throughput and operational efficiency, the new line substantially increases Woodgrain Inc.’s production capacity while improving finish consistency across its product portfolio. These advancements further establish the Latrobe facility as a strategic hub for providing value-added solutions to customers throughout the region.
“The addition of the Cefla prefinish line represents a meaningful step forward in our commitment to continuous improvement,” said Vin DiBiasio, regional vice president. “By investing in advanced technology, we are strengthening our operational capabilities and ensuring we continue to provide reliable, high-quality products that our customers can depend on.”
This investment, the company said, reinforces Woodgrain’s focus on delivering innovative solutions, increasing speed to market, and maintaining the high standards of quality and service customers have come to expect.
