2016 will be an year of innovations for Microvellum

 Friday, January 29, 2016

DavePeelPresident and Founder of Microvellum Mr. Dave Peel extends an encouraging year –end message to Microvellum customers and gave a message on look back of 2015 and their upcoming efforts of 2016.
“As we close out 2015 and head into 2016, it seems appropriate to pause and reflect on what we’ve accomplished, the journey we’ve taken to get to where we are and the future ahead of us.
When I first started Microvellum, nearly twenty-five years ago, I had dreams of building technology that would allow woodworkers to tap into their creativity to build, engineer, collaborate and innovate. I wanted to create a community of like-minded professionals that shared my passion for woodworking. Looking back at what we’ve accomplished, I can say that I am proud of not only my team, but our worldwide community of users and partners that continue to push forward, bringing new ideas that allow us to develop innovative software for the woodworking industry.
Our technology continues to grow and so does our footprint in this industry. We’ve added several new team members within the US, Canadian, and Australian markets and look forward to steady team growth as Microvellum expands into new markets in 2016. We also experienced record breaking growth, exceeding our growth targets in each quarter of 2015. I would like to thank our valued customers and industry partners for helping Microvellum achieve this success.
In the coming months, you will start seeing some amazing new technology as well as some refined existing tools. We will be unveiling completely new software developed for the closet and residential cabinet industries. In the summer of 2016, you will see new Toolbox functionality that will make engineering custom fixtures and diewalls simple and faster than ever before, utilizing new visual design tools.
The future of Microvellum is bright. In 2016, we will continue to focus on user experience, support and functionality. We look forward to working with each of our partners to ensure their experience with Microvellum is a profitable one.”
