AWFS 2019 witnessed the best of woodworking equipment and technology at the Las Vegas fair-ground last week. At Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers (AWFS), BIESSE Group displayed it’s revolutionary ROS (Robotic Operating System) at the fair. At AWFS the Revolutionary ROS (Robotic Operating System) was unveiled and introduced in the American market.
Biesse’s NEW WN6 ROS Panel Saw with integrated Robot won the Visionary Award for Industry 4.0 technology at the AWFS Fair. The game-changer with the WN6 ROS is, equipped with the frame of a Selco Panel Saw and replaced the air tables so that everything can be done by the robot instead of the operator.
With the WN6 ROS, the operator is no longer required to be in front of the machine, constantly moving panels, rotating strips, pressing the start button to begin every cycle and manually applying labeling. At BIESSE, the makers strongly believe in creating more efficient and smart factories and making those factories a better place to work.
AUTOMACTION: Integrate, connect, digitize
At AWFS, BIESSE displayed some of the most innovative technology that is available in the industry from affordable, high quality entry-level machines up to the most technologically advanced solutions available for panel processing, solid wood manufacturing, plastic manufacturing as well as the production of non-ferrous metals and composite materials.
Product specialists were available to explain the latest trends and technology designed to reduce set up time and increase productivity and there was a dedicated area for demonstrations on the innovative SOPHIA IoT and bSolid software that simplifies work, and allow easy access to transcend from the concept to design in just a few clicks.
Within 16,000 square meters of exhibiting space, BIESSE exhibited 25+ technologies, which was demonstrated by 100+ experts to countless visitors at the show.
