84 Lumber has announced the opening of its latest door shop in Lawrence, Pennsylvania, further solidifying its commitment to customer service. The new facility, located at 400 Commerce Blvd, spans 41,250 square feet and is equipped with a door line and stair machine. This shop will focus on hanging interior doors and constructing installation-ready stairs, catering to both regional and national homebuilders. By manufacturing these products in-house, 84 Lumber aims to provide enhanced flexibility, customization, and seamless integration of door packages for its customers.
Phil Garuccio, divisional vice president of 84 Lumber’s central division, emphasized the importance of the Pittsburgh market, stating, “While Pittsburgh and its population have expanded, so has 84 Lumber. This new door shop will enable us to better serve our customers, meeting all their interior needs for any type of home being built in Pittsburgh.”
As 84 Lumber continues to grow, it has added framing services, floor and roofing truss plants, and kitchen and bath design services to meet market demand. The company currently operates 11 locations servicing the Pittsburgh area, with nine additional locations in Western Pennsylvania.
