The Mass Timber Conference returns in April 2024. Every year the show attracts professionals from across the forest, manufacturing, design, development, and construction industries. The International Mass Timber Conference is one of the largest gatherings of mass timber experts in the world, focusing on the entire industry supply chain. This is our 8th annual event in Portland, Oregon, USA.
Partiicpants may explore cross-laminated timber (CLT), nail-laminated timber, glulam, mass plywood panels, dowel-laminated timber, and laminated veneer lumber; and the opportunities and obstacles in global design, construction, development, manufacturing, and more.
As the mass timber movement continues to gain acceptance around the world, the industry will gather in Portland, OR next spring for its annual conference.
Eight years ago it was more of a cult than a mainstream building movement but now the mass timber industry has gained widespread acceptance throughout the world and so, its next conference promises to help advance the business even more.
More than 2,700 attendees, 170 exhibitors and 60 speakers are expected at the 2024 International Mass Timber Conference March 24 to 25 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, OR. Registration is now open for the event, which bills itself as “the largest gathering of mass timber experts in the world, focusing on the entire industry supply chain.”
Show organizers say attendees can learn about “cross-laminated timber (CLT), nail-laminated timber, glulam, mass plywood panels, dowel-laminated timber and laminated veneer lumber” as well as explore “the opportunities and obstacles in global design, construction, development, manufacturing and more.”
There will also be building tours of mass timber structures in the Portland area, which has become one of the more popular locations for such buildings.
