AWC Launches Redesigned Website

 Friday, August 7, 2015

ShowItemImage.ashx copyThe American Wood Council (AWC) has launched its redesigned website with responsive features to make it easier to navigate on mobile devices.

“Our website receives over half a million visitors a year,” said AWC Vice President of Technology Transfer John “Buddy” Showalter. “The streamlined navigation and responsive design will make the site easier to navigate, whether on a job site or in your office.” He added further.

The “Education” portion of the website has also been restructured. In addition to being able to sort courses by topic category or presentation type, website visitors can now sort courses by accreditation. AWC is an American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System Approved Provider, a Preferred Provider for the International Code Council, and our education programs are registered with National Council of Structural Engineers Associations Diamond Approval Program. Users are able to easily find courses to meet their education credit needs.

AWC Website visitors will also find links to the full spectrum of AWC activities, including resources on green building, regulation of the industry’s manufacturing processes, and how AWC engages and advocates on behalf of the industry to federal, state and local government.
