AWFS-Event

The Convention Center’s West Hall will host the AWFS Fair, which is a huge hit for the world’s woodworking community on July 22–25 in Las Vegas. The show runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday. The AWFS Fair, which has as its subject “Thrive in 2025,” provides an up-close look at the newest hardware, supplies, technology, and services available on the market. Approximately 500 exhibitors will showcase thousands of goods at the AWFS Fair, which is intended to assist manufacturers, fabricators, builders, installers, and designers in expanding their enterprises to new heights. In turn, the Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers (AWFS) owns the biennial show.

Karl Frey, the chair of the AWFS Trade event Committee, emphasized the significance of the event for individuals working in the furniture, cabinets, retail fixtures, closets, architectural millwork, components, and other industrial sectors. “Beyond a trade show, AWFS Fair immerses attendees in the future of woodworking,” he noted.  “Discover cutting-edge machinery, tools, and materials while engaging in WED Talks, panel discussions, and hands-on demonstrations designed to sharpen your skills and industry knowledge. AWFS is committed to education and workforce development.”

A wide range of lectures on business, technology, production, workforce, and education are available at the AWFS Fair College of Woodworking Knowledge. Pricing for Profitability, From Cabinets to Closets (both on Tuesday), Pricing Workshop, Beyond the Algorithm: Smarter Social Media Strategies for Real Results (both on Wednesday), and So You Want to Start a Woodworking Business: 7 Things You Need to Know (Thursday) are just a few of the topics that the industry experts will be discussing. These include Will Sampson, Michaelle Bradford, and David Biggs of Woodworking Network.

The AWFS Live Stage hosts the always-popular Wood EDucation (WED Talks) from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. These include: How Can We Get Younger Generations in the Woodworking Industry; Understanding the Custom Woodworking Business from a Contractor’s Perspective by Geoffrey Finkel, Source-Book.com (Wednesday); and Cloud-Powered Millwork: Bridging Craftsmanship and Innovation by Brian Hamilton of New Horizons Data (Tuesday). M Buell Studio, by Matt Buell (Thursday). Additionally, have a look at the Rapid Fire presentations, which offer a brief overview of some of the newest software, hardware, and technology must-haves from creative companies.
