The Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers (AWFS) has launched a job board for access by both employers and job seekers on AWFS.org to assist with the challenge of employment and open positions the woodworking industry is facing.
The AWFS Job Board will be used by employers to advertise their job vacancies to job seekers and job seekers can use the job board to search new job opportunities in their area and profession. AWFS will monitor the job board closely to be sure AWFS members and the industry are benefiting for open jobs and needed skills within the industry. The intention is to serve woodworking industry specifically, to keep it simple and timely, and to serve a growing need.
“Attracting high quality people to join our team has always been the catalyst that has kept DBS growing for more than 33 years. What AWFS has created is a channel that will allow wood industry employers and the craftspeople that drive our business to connect directly,” Jim Irving, General Manager, Drawer Box Specialties (DBS).
