Clamping now made easier in small spaces with new GearKlamp (GK Series) from Bessey tools. The new AWFS Visionary Award winning GearKlamp, from Bessey will now make clamping easier. The rail-mounted handle is now offset from the point of contact and allows a wider variety of assembly applications in comparison to more traditional clamps. The GearKlamp reduces or eliminates the need for awkward glue-up workarounds. The Bessey GearKlamp offers a more compact solution than the classic bar clamp.
Broad movements of the clamping arm are done with a quick-adjust button that allows one to get to the right clamping position quickly and productively. The final clamping action is completed by turning the handle, which is uniquely positioned around the rail. Each turn of the handle transfers the clamping force to the spindle via a geared mechanism incorporated into the sliding bar. This innovative design offers a surprisingly comfortable clamping position and permits applications in places where traditional clamps would not be practical.
Works “big” in tight space:
This Bessey’s new GearKlamps is available in four sizes ranging from 6 inches to 24 inches for a wide variety of clamping applications. Now with these new tools, coupled with advanced features, the user may implement plenty of clamping force. This clamp is perfect for using in small spaces. While conventional tools do not have enough space for finger movement while tightening the clamp, on the contrary this clamp offers enough space for apt finger movement.
Bessey, one of the leading tool manufacturers in United States has come up with a solution. The new Bessey GearKlamps, that has won a Visionary Award at AWFS, is a perfect solution to clamping. Bessey introduced clamps with a difference. They move the clamping handle to be concentric with the bar. This means no knuckle-busting in close quarters, but there are some other new features, too, to make these clamps even more productive.
Key benefits of using the GearKlamp:
• Unique compact design allows clamping in the tightest of spots
• Ergonomic use ensures both comfort and functionality
• Robust technology creates a tool that will last
