The Associate Awards recognize BILD’s associate members for their commitment to quality, service, professionalism, leadership and innovation when working with a builder or renovator.
The Associate Awards are unique because unlike BILD’s other award programs, the nominees are evaluated by their clients as opposed to a judging panel.
The Manufacturer/Supplier of the Year award was presented to Sun-Brite Drapery. This is the second associate award for the company, who won previously in 2012. In business for over 40 years, Sun-Brite is well known in the industry, servicing their valued retail clients and working alongside high-profiled designers and builders throughout the GTA.
Martino Contractors Ltd. was recognized as the Trade Contractor of the Year for the third time after capturing this award in 2010 and 2011. The company specializes in heating and air conditioning systems, as well as indoor air quality products. Since 1987 the company has installed approximately 70, 000 furnaces and air conditioners all across Ontario.
The award for Service Professional of the Year was captured by Avid Ratings Canada. The company is a full-service customer loyalty management firm, providing enterprise-level surveys, organizational strategies, employee training and proprietary solutions.
“I would like to congratulate the recipients of this year’s Associate Awards and thank them for their outstanding commitment to quality and professionalism,” said BILD president and CEO Bryan Tuckey. “Each year the bar is raised higher and higher when it comes to the quality of work done by our associate members, and I am proud to have them represent our association throughout the GTA.”
With more than 1,400 members, BILD, formed through the merger of the Greater Toronto Home Builders’ Association and Urban Development Institute/Ontario, is the voice of the land development, home building and professional renovation industry in the Greater Toronto Area. BILD is proudly affiliated with the Ontario and Canadian Home Builders’ Associations.
