With panel manufacturers looking to decrease labor costs, Black Bros. has designed and engineered the Panel Assist Stacker to be integrated with its Panel Express System. The state-of-the-art, in-line process is the wood industry’s most efficient option for laminating HPL to particleboard or MDF. With this exciting new machine, tedious back-end labor is now completely automated.
The Panel Assist Stacker, which is straightforward in form and operation, has a vacuum-suctioned arm that continually grabs, directs, and releases freshly laminated panels as they emerge from the system’s seat-assisted rotating laminator into a uniform stack. An operator no longer needs to stack the finished, ready-to-cut panels manually. Once ready, simply send the forklift to move those boards into production.
The Panel Assist Stacker has been successfully tested to operate with panels up to 5’5’x2′ ‘and performs in conjunction with the Panel Express System’s maximum speed of 30 FPM. It can be ordered with a new machine line or retrofitted to those currently operating in the field. Its simple, one-way movement is made possible with the inclusion of the Black Bros. Laminate Indexing Station, which assures the product is fed into the laminator with repeatable precision.
