Con-Vey is excited to announce their new Project Manager: Parker Massie. Although not a new role for the company, this is a new position for Massie who was previously a Mechanical Engineer at Con-Vey since August 2019.
With his work background as well as a Bachelors from Oregon Institute of Technology in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Business Management, Massie has the technical knowledge and experience to make this transition to Project Manager a seamless one.
“We know that Parker will be a great fit for this position and help fill the gap needed in our team,” said Mechanical Engineering Manager, Spencer Heard. Con-Vey’s President & CEO, Dave Larecy, also shared that “this will be a good growth area for Parker to learn a wider scope of the company’s operations and projects.” Larecy continued on by saying that Massie’s “mechanical engineering and technical background will be an asset as he navigates this new role, fields questions coming from customers, and collaborates with our customers to support and facilitate
projects.”
As a Southern Oregon native with a 2-year period residing in Utah to pursue aviation, Massie understands and respects the Pacific Northwest area, and uses his vast knowledge to better interact with customers and explain project terms. “I felt that based on Con-Vey’s current team of highly
experienced mechanical engineers, my skills would best contribute to the company in the project manager role,” Massie stated.
