Drytac, one of the global self-adhesive material providers for large-format printing and signage, recently expanded its Polar range with two new easy to apply solutions in North American market. It has added Polar Smooth 150 Air and Polar Transit Air – two new self-adhesive products to its Polar line of printable media.
Polar Smooth 150 Air
Polar Smooth 150 Air is phthalate-free, dimensionally stable, and can be applied and removed without tearing or straining. It is protected by a 90# PE coated kraft bubble free release paper and coated with pressure-sensitive, removable aqueous acrylic glue. The product has a life expectancy of up to 5 years outdoors and is offered in rolls that are 150 feet long and up to 60 inches wide. It is suited for a wide range of uses, including temporary construction hoardings, point-of-sale applications, interior décor uses (including the installation of graphics onto windows, walls, melamine and glass), as well as the majority of other flat or simple curved surfaces. This 6-mil (150), self-adhesive white polymeric printable matte PVC film is created for graphics that need to be easily and quickly installed and removed without any hassle of lamination. It features removable bubble-free air egress adhesive technology.

Polar Transit Air
The high-quality, releasable gray acrylic adhesive used by Polar Transit Air is shielded by a 90# PE-coated kraft bubble-free release liner. It can be used in conjunction with a coordinating overlaminate – Drytac WeathershieldTM, to extend its outdoor life expectancy to up to 7 years. It comes in rolls that are 150 feet long and up to 60.5 inches wide. The 3.2 mil (80 ) premium, matte white polymeric self-adhesive PVC Polar® Transit Air is ideal for smooth, flat, or simple curved surfaces like sports arena boards, commercial vehicles, and indoor and outdoor display signage due to its superb opaque properties. It contains a detachable pressure-sensitive adhesive that enables field installation in cold weather without the need for wet application procedures, as well as featuring Drytac’s bubble-free technology for an effortless install.
