Enviva

Enviva Inc. reported staff changes in the positions of general counsel, chief administrative and people officer, chief commercial officer, and chief sustainability officer. Enviva is unwavering in its mission to sustainably grow and scale its manufacturing and customer footprints as the demand for dependable, dispatchable, and renewable alternatives to replace fossil fuels and ensure a stable energy transition continues to rise.

Enviva has appointed John-Paul Taylor to the position of Chief Commercial Office, keeping in mind Enviva’s commercial growth trajectory. Taylor most recently held the position of Senior Vice President of Sales and Fulfillment before joining Enviva in February 2014 as Vice President, Optimization and Origination. Taylor has assisted Enviva’s clients in minimizing their reliance on coal and other fossil fuels. He is keen on investigating more into the additional uses for sustainable woody biomass as Enviva expands into new markets throughout the world, notably in sustainable biofuels and challenging industrial sectors.

Brandi Colander has been named as Chief Sustainability Officer of the brand. Colander brings a wealth of experience in policy, sustainability, and external affairs to the organization. She has worked as Associate Vice President, Natural Resources and Energy at the National Wildlife Federation, Chief Sustainability Officer at WestRock, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Land and Minerals Management at the US Department of the Interior, and Associate Vice President, Natural Resources and Energy at WestRock. She has also worked as the Executive Office of the President’s Deputy General Counsel for the White House Council on Environmental Quality.

Roxanne Klein has been appointed as Chief Administrative and People Officer. Along with managing the human resources department, she will be in charge of several corporate and administrative tasks in her new position. Finally, Jason Paral has been appointed General Counsel and will maintain his role as Secretary. Throughout his tenure at Enviva, Paral has held positions of increasing responsibility and closely supported the other members of the executive team and the board of directors through major transactions, corporate conversion at year-end 2021, and many other key milestones.
