FANUC, one of the global leaders in Factory Automation, robotics, and ROBOMACHINES has reached a notable milestone with the production of its one-millionth industrial robot. As an automation trailblazer for half a century, FANUC’s robots have reached various corners of the world to assemble, handle, paint, package, and weld products of every shape and size. The company is further prepared to serve its customers who intend to use robots to fight the obstacle of labor shortage. FANUC America is also planning to expand its spread while developing its capabilities to meet customer needs with the ongoing construction of its new West Campus scheduled to open in the spring of 2024. The new facility with the existing headquarters and North Campus, will occupy nearly two million square feet of operational space in Oakland County, MI.
FANUC’s innovative technologies and proven expertise have been helping manufacturers in the Americas to maximize their productivity, reliability, and profitability. The company further plans to maintain its position in the global market while confidently solving production problems. Entering the North American market in 1982 primarily as a supplier but today the company’s robot and cobot model variants are used in various industries. Landmark achievements like this further strengthen FANUC’s position as one of the industry leaders.
