Fanuc America

FANUC America is making it easier for manufacturers to embrace automation with the launch of a new web tool, Cobot and Go. This platform enables companies of all sizes to easily search for ready-to-go collaborative robot (cobot) solutions that are pre-engineered, reliable, and efficient. Featuring FANUC’s CRX line of cobots, the tool allows users to search by application, robot model, or Authorized System Integrator, offering an intuitive and informative starting point for finding the right solutions.

Cobots, known for their safety and ease of integration into human workspaces, offer a cost-effective alternative to traditional industrial robots. They are particularly valuable in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing scenarios, where flexibility and quick adaptation are key. When integrated into standardized systems, cobots can optimize space, maximize flexibility, and even be mounted on moveable carts or autonomous mobile robots.

Jerry Perez, Manager at FANUC America, explained, “Today’s pre-engineered solutions offer standardization that can significantly accelerate customer ROI, helping businesses get up and running quickly while benefiting from FANUC’s reliability and efficiency.”

The platform currently features standardized solutions for applications such as palletizing, machine tending, welding, and inspection. In addition, FANUC offers a range of educational resources, including basic cobot training modules and more technical tutorials through its new Tech Transfer portal.

FANUC’s CRX line offers service-free maintenance for up to eight years, with a payload of up to 30 kg and a reach of up to 1889 mm, making it suitable for a variety of industries and applications, including specialized models for painting and food-grade environments.
