Roboguide 10

Fanuc, a manufacturer of robotics, CNC systems, and robotic machines, has launched the latest and most sophisticated version of its offline robot programming and simulation software, Roboguide Version 10. Developed to improve productivity, visualization, and user experience, Roboguide remains the preferred option for businesses looking to simplify automation design and deployment.

Without the need for actual prototypes, Roboguide enables users to design, program, and model robotic work cells in three dimensions, which lowers costs and increases automation planning accuracy. Fanuc is bringing some significant enhancements with the release of this next-generation software, such as:

New capabilities for virtual reality: Users may now experience work cells in a completely immersive setting, which enhances spatial awareness and line of sight like never before. By using virtual reality playback and walkthrough, engineers and operators can engage with automation designs in a more natural and perceptive manner.

Excellent 64-bit architecture: Roboguide is now a 64-bit program, offering enhanced processing power, more content capacity, and better performance for intricate automation systems.

Upgraded user interface: The enhanced graphics, floating and docking windows, and ribbon-style toolbar of Roboguide V10 make navigation easier and more effective. Users can easily find and define robots with a new drag-and-drop tool.

Improved CAD import compatibility: Importing, modifying, and optimizing automation layouts is now easier than ever thanks to ROBOGUIDE’s support for a wide range of native CAD files, which streamlines integration and design procedures.

“With the release of our enhanced Roboguide V10, we’re delivering a smarter, more powerful simulation tool that meets the evolving needs of the automation industry,” stated Eric Potter, general manager, Robot Application Segment, at FANUC America. “Across nearly every industry, this immersive simulation software allows manufacturers to effectively visualize work cell effectiveness before actual installation, without the physical need or expense of a prototype setup.”

With a single license, Roboguide V10 is now accessible to users alongside its predecessor, allowing Fanuc customers to benefit from the most recent developments in robotic simulation.

About Fanuc

Although Fuji Automatic Numerical Control, or FANUC, was founded in Japan in 1972, its history dates back to 1956, when the country’s private sector successfully built its first numerical control. FANUC introduced its industrial robot technology to the United States in 1982. With more than 40 million devices deployed globally, FANUC is currently the industry leader in robotics, CNC systems, and ROBOMACHINES. Since then, we have never looked back.

The company’s experience is extensive, and they take pride in the hundreds of experts who have contributed their special skills to their success, including engineers, product developers, project managers, technicians, salespeople, trainers, and service staff. FANUC is dedicated to helping its clients discover a solution based on its dependable automation technology, regardless of the production challenges.

As part of their dedication to Service First, FANUC offers lifetime product support to clients for as long as their FANUC product is in use throughout production. To satisfy a client’s needs, they have a skilled staff of service, support, and training instructors. No other automation firm can make that claim.
