As co-owner, Koelnmesse GmbH is organising the Feria Mueble & Madera, the largest and most important trade fair for industrial wood processing, furniture production and interior design in Colombia, Central America and the Andes region, for the first time in 2018 in Bogota. The 14th edition of the firmly established industry platform takes place from March 6 to 9, 2018 in partnership with the renowned Colombian trade fair company Corferias de Bogotá. With the participation of Koelnmesse, the position of the event as a central trade meeting point is further expanded upon. Feria Mueble & Madera offers Internationally active companies new chances for accessing promising market potential in the region. Growing market potential
The economic prerequisites in Colombia for profitable trade fair participation are presently especially favourable. As the third largest national economy in Latin America, the Andes state continues on its growth course. Among the impulse providers for growth are the construction industry as well as real estate. According to government information, 387,000 homes will be financed in the coming three years. That corresponds to a volume of 35 billion US dollars.
