Felder Group USA launches the all new Format4 brushing machines for universal applications. The two variants of this particular brushing machine type are finebrush 1355 and 1353. The optimized combination of the units make these innovative machines perfect for industrial use.
These premium machines are made to fulfill all the premium requirements. The FORMAT4 machines have high performance capabilities and can work continuously. The optimized production solutions are very customer specific while these are the owner of solid design. The machines have touch screen control for maximum operating comfort. The machines require no abrasive grit change.
The main components of the machines are-
• Feed table- The finebrush 1353 features a height adjustment by means of a feed table. The finebrush 1355 promises simple and effortless work as it has a fixed infeed table height of 900mm.
• Vacuum table- The wide belt sander can also have a vacuum table that can be used for smooth, small or thinner work pieces.
• Sanding brush in longitudinal direction- The work pieces can be machined and ground in the longitudinal direction. This enables the machining of traverse work piece edges. The direction of rotation and the sanding speed can be adjusted from 0.8-5 m/sec conveniently from the control panel.
• Disc brush unit- The Format4 finebrush 1353 owns a compact disc brush unit with a brush diameter off 115 mm. This helps to process the work pieces in rotary grinding. Sharp work piece edges are thus easily rounded and internal corners are cleanly machined. The brush diameter of finebrush 1355 is 240mm.
• Quick change system for grinding inserts- The grinding inserts on the longitudinal and disc brushes can be exchanged quickly and easily. This saves time and energy.
