ForMóbile 2026 is set to reinforce its position as Latin America’s leading trade fair for the furniture and woodworking sectors by expanding international business opportunities for Brazilian manufacturers and suppliers. The event will host a series of strategic business meetings organized by ABIMÓVEL in partnership with ApexBrasil as part of the Brazilian Furniture Sector Project.

The initiative aims to increase the international presence of Brazil’s furniture production chain. It also supports the sector’s long-term export growth strategy by facilitating direct engagement between domestic companies and qualified buyers from multiple global markets.

The business meetings will take place during the exhibition at São Paulo Expo. The trade fair runs through July 3, while the scheduled buyer sessions will be conducted from June 30 to July 2. Around 60 Brazilian companies are expected to participate. They will connect with importers representing nearly 20 countries across Latin America, North America, Europe, and Africa.

The program has been structured into two distinct segments. One segment focuses on suppliers serving the furniture production chain. The other is dedicated to manufacturers of finished furniture products.

The Supplier Vertical of the Buyer Project will be held on July 1 and July 2. This segment will bring together Brazilian producers of components, machinery, hardware, raw materials, and industrial solutions. Direct meetings with international importers will be conducted to explore commercial partnerships and export opportunities.

The Furniture Manufacturers Vertical will take place on June 30 and July 1. This portion of the program is designed for companies producing finished furniture. Participating brands will have the opportunity to showcase their collections, product innovations, and design capabilities directly to overseas buyers.

The dual approach strengthens business prospects throughout the entire furniture value chain. Suppliers and manufacturers will be represented within the same international business environment. This format increases visibility for different industry segments and highlights the integrated nature of Brazil’s furniture ecosystem.

New export opportunities are expected to be created through these interactions. Commercial relationships can also be strengthened across multiple markets. Industry leaders believe the initiative will help position Brazil as a reliable and competitive source for furniture products and manufacturing solutions.

According to Irineu Munhoz, president of ABIMÓVEL, the country’s furniture sector possesses the production scale, quality standards, material diversity, and operational flexibility required to serve a wide range of international markets. He noted that bringing global buyers to a major industry exhibition allows them to gain a closer understanding of Brazil’s manufacturing capabilities while creating favorable conditions for business development and long-term cooperation.

The international business meetings represent one of the key highlights of the 2026 edition of ForMóbile. The event has significantly expanded its global engagement strategy. New initiatives have been introduced to strengthen connections between Brazilian companies and international purchasing decision-makers.

As a result, the exhibition continues to evolve beyond its traditional role as a trade show. It is increasingly being recognized as a platform that supports international business development and export expansion for the furniture sector.

Tatiano Segalin, Business Manager of ForMóbile, emphasized that internationalization remains a critical factor for the sustainable growth of Brazil’s furniture industry. He stated that the collaboration between ForMóbile, ABIMÓVEL, and ApexBrasil enhances the event’s capacity to support export development initiatives.

By bringing domestic manufacturers and overseas buyers together in a single venue, practical opportunities are created for new business agreements and market expansion. Industry competitiveness can also be strengthened through greater international exposure and commercial engagement.

Beyond generating immediate transactions during the exhibition, the Buyer Project is designed to encourage lasting business relationships. Long-term partnerships are expected to be developed between Brazilian companies and buyers from strategically important regions.

As global demand for diversified sourcing continues to grow, initiatives such as these provide valuable opportunities for manufacturers seeking access to new markets. ForMóbile 2026 is therefore positioned not only as a leading trade exhibition but also as an important gateway for expanding the global reach of Brazil’s furniture industry.
