FPAC Represents Forest Products Industry at CNBC

fpac-logo-2014Catherine Cobden, Executive Vice President of Forest Products Association of Canada, represented Canada’s forest products industry at the Energy Future Global Brainstorming Event Series in Toronto on November 26th – an exclusive series that brought together key thought leaders from around the world across academia, government, business, finance, infrastructure, NGOs and charities to discover breakthrough technologies that will bring about a clean energy future.
“It is important for all sectors of Canada’s resource industry to be involved in this important global dialogue,” says Cobden. “I was pleased to represent a voice for Canada’s forest sector in discussing the future of the energy industry and how forest products will play a part in the evolution of clean bio-based energy.”
Presented by CNBC, the American cable and satellite business news television channel, Energy Futures is a collective event and news programming series for that has was previously held in Singapore and Perth, with the Toronto session capping off the series. Video clips with highlights and final outcomes from the session will be available on Energy-Future.tv and on CNBC International.
