Graco Inc., a leading manufacturer of fluid handling equipment, has unveiled the Pulse® Asset system. As an extension of Graco’s established Pulse Pro Fluid Management system, Pulse Asset is a platform-based solution featuring programmable ID tags that monitor which machines are being filled, the amount of fluid used, the operator, and the timing of each dispense.
This system is particularly suited for environments like manufacturing facilities, where wireless signals may not always be reliable.
“Pulse Asset is a powerful, new variant of a field-proven system for metering and tracking fluid dispenses,” said Jack Koenig, global product marketing manager for Graco’s Lubrication Equipment Division. “Manufacturing facilities are continually challenged with tracking fluid use and interruptions to their Wi-Fi signal, so having a fluid management system capable of recording dispenses offline will help engineers and managers confidently manage fluids in their operations.” Jack added further.
Additional challenges that manufacturing facilities may face are ensuring the correct fluid is used in each asset and allocating fluid use to individual departments. Pulse Asset reduces the likelihood of human error by disallowing the dispensing of fluids that do not match the programmed tags.

Pulse Asset allows the recording of every drop of fluid dispensed on the factory floor – reducing fluid usage and keeping expenses down. With Pulse Asset, one can easily optimise equipment uptime and stay ahead of the competition.
This simple system allows anybody to be trained to use- from the factory floor to the manufacturing line. The robust testing done ensures Pulse Asset exceeds quality standards, to provide many years of reliable service.
