Grizzly launches two premium circular saw blade lines for enhanced cutting precision

Grizzly Industries

The new Grizzly PRO and Extreme Series offer 21 specialized blade options, delivering professional-grade performance for projects of all sizes. Engineered for smoother cuts and significantly reduced material waste, these blades are built to rival the industry’s top brands in longevity, durability, and price, whether on the jobsite or in an industrial shop.

“We built these new saw blades the same way we built our company, obsessed with quality and unwilling to cut corners,” said Shabir Balolia, president of Grizzly Industrial.

Optimized for lumber used in decking, framing, and outdoor projects—including plywood, softwoods, and OSB—these blades feature the standout GlideMax advanced non-stick coating, which effectively prevents resin buildup when cutting sappy or green lumber.

Grizzly PRO blade
Each Grizzly PRO blade features CNC heat-brazed C4 carbide tips that deliver up to 6X the cutting life of standard blades. By holding a sharp edge longer and providing the structural integrity to resist breakage under heavy loads, these blades ensure fewer changes and non-stop production.

Extreme Series

The Extreme Series delivers enhanced durability with CNC heat-brazed C9 carbide tips and improved heat resistance through a hardened satin chrome finish, setting it apart from the PRO line. Designed for both craftspersons and industrial shops, it provides added reliability for clean, production-level ripping, particularly for sheet goods and expensive hardwoods. The satin chrome finish significantly reduces friction and heat—key factors behind burn marks and pitch buildup—ensuring a glue-ready cut straight from the saw while minimizing maintenance and boosting production efficiency.

It is built for continuous use, the Extreme Series offers up to 6X the durability of standard blades and can be sharpened up to 3X, providing the rock-solid reliability required for handling high-end materials.

About Grizzly

“Our products can be found in all sizes of shops from the large industrial to the smaller cabinet and machine shops, and your garage.”

What started out as a need for a personal lathe, but having empty pockets, Shiraz began buying used lathes, fixing them and selling them for a little profit. Eventually, he made enough money to buy his own lathe and realized, this could be a good business! So that’s where Mr. Balolia started when he founded this Bellingham-based company in 1983. He named it Grizzly, since all other animals are afraid of grizzlies, and then he transformed what had been a woodworking hobby into one of the largest machinery companies in the United States.
