Haefele showcased its family of Ixconnect connectors at the Association of Woodworking and Furnishing Suppliers (AWFS) Fair this year. The company made the best use of the opportunity to showcase the exclusive, patented innovations that are made to ease the process of furniture assembling and installation. The revolutionary products included –
• HaefeleIxconnect Spreading Connector SC 8/60 can assemble and disassemble large pieces of furniture. The spreading dowel pulls parts together with a 180-degree turn of a hex key – no glue or clamps needed – allowing one to take apart the projects as easily as you put them together. Panels can be as thin as 15 mm.
• lxconnect Spreading Connector 8/25 is the best option for smaller projects or drawer boxes.
• The Ixconnect Claw Connector CC 8/5/30 is perfect for faster installation and RTA furniture, as this single connector pulls together wooden drawers quickly and without tools.
• The HaefeleMinifix System provides firm connection despite its small design – even after repeated breakdown and re-tightening, which is achieved with just one half-turn of the cam.
• The HaefeleRafix System features specially designed housing for comfortable tightening. With two types of recess to accommodate a connecting bolt – horizontal and vertical installation for panels without a ridge and vertical installation for panels with a ridge. The Rafix makes cabinet connections guided and secure.
• The Lamello P-system is another time-saving RTA connector that requires no horizontal boring and features a very high clamping force, making it great for cabinets, closets, and more.
• For fastening panels to frames, the HaefeleKeku System works with Varianta screw mounting and wood screw mounting.
• The Button-fix Panel Connecting Fittings is perfect for providing secure, hidden fixings and a range of possibilities for installment. The marker will leave indents in the mating panel surface which can be used as a guide to quickly and accurately align the Button-fix installation without measuring.
• All purpose Uni-Connector is useful for spacers/fillers, access panels and sink fronts. It screws direction into wood or into a pre-drilled 5 mm hole if sleeves are used.
