i4F AquaProtect delivers remarkably with their latest innovation in AquaProtect. It is a high-precision, resource-saving impregnation technology delivering unmatched protection to laminate-core HDF boards from water swell by up to 75%, thus increasing dramatically their overall water-resistance. Fully compatible with existing laminate manufacturing lines, AquaProtect is a unique proposition enabling producers to significantly upgrade their offerings, that too for a relatively low investment.
This tehcnology operates with any type of locking and provides the same moisture-resistance performance as normal laminate-core HDF boards with a 20% greater resin content. The impregnation agent’s unique formula is supplied by Riepe, which is exclusively available for AquaProtect licensees.
NALFA and ISO 4760 certified
The technology seals the joint edges of laminate panels with and without V-grooves by using a hydrophobic impregnation solution, preventing needless overspray. All internationally recognised laminate water-resistance standards and tests, including NALFA and ISO 4760, are met by laminates treated with AquaProtect.
