IWF 2022 already on track for a winning event

 Tuesday, March 23, 2021

IWF 2022 momentum is growing fast with hundreds of exhibitors securing their exhibit space in the Priority Renewal program, which opened January 8 and continues through mid-April.

The Priority Renewal process rewards IWF exhibitors who have earned seniority and priority points from participating in previous shows with access to choice locations for IWF 2022, which runs Tuesday, August 23, through Friday, August 26 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

The IWF sales team says renewal activity is robust with a large percentage of exhibitors committing to expanded space for North America’s first global woodworking trade show since 2018.

“Our exhibitors are excited at the prospects of all that an in-person IWF 2022 can deliver,” says J.P. Roberts, Director of Sales for IWF. “Optimism and expectations are running high – as evidenced by not only renewal volume and pace but also the percentage of exhibitors committing to larger spaces,” Roberts says.

Building B Exhibit Halls Nearly Full

Indications are that at the end of Priority Assignment process in the middle of April, the exhibit space in Building B exhibit halls will be almost completely full of machinery exhibitors.

“Priority exhibit space assignment response has been extremely encouraging,” says Meg Taylor, Senior Sales Manager for IWF. “We are seeing many of the mid-sized companies taking more space than they have in past shows. Some are accommodating a backlog of new product developments, while others aim to raise their profile at the show.”

Renewing exhibitors are looking forward to an IWF 2022 show integrating:

On track to top 1,000 exhibiting companies for IWF 2022 that will occupy more than 1.4 million gross sq. ft. of floor space, the IWF 2022 show will reflect the true scope and scale of the global woodworking industry, featuring virtually all major manufacturers, emerging brands, and new-to-market producers and service providers. The large and diverse exhibitor mix will showcase products and services in more than 542 categories covering all key market sectors.

Once the Priority Space process wraps up in mid-April, general space sales opens on May 4.
