IWF in partnership with the Tunnel To Towers Foundation

IWF-Atlanta

IWF will host its third annual Woodworking Manufacturing Month October 1-31, 2023, as part of a historic new partnership with the Tunnel To Towers Foundation. The campaign will highlight woodworking innovation and support the Tunnel To Towers mission to house severely injured U.S. veterans and first responders. In the 53-year history of IWF, the new Partnership represents the first nationwide partnership of its sort. It enables all manufacturers and service providers taking part in Woodworking Manufacturing Month to directly support the Tunnel To Towers cause while also highlighting the most recent advancements in their unique business practices.

In its new partnership with the Tunnel To Towers Foundation, IWF joins other major corporations, many of which have close ties to the wood industry, such as the Home Depot Foundation, Hunter Douglas, MasterBrand, Glidden, Oldcastle Architectural, UPS, GMC, and others in supporting the Foundation’s goal of constructing mortgage-free homes for seriously injured U.S. military veterans and first responders. With a variety of amenities including bigger hallways and doorways, special showers, automatic door openers, cabinets, counters, and moveable stove tops, Smart Homes financed by Tunnel to Towers are intended to meet the individual demands of each resident.
