IWF signs cooperation agreement with EUMABOIS

 Wednesday, April 26, 2023

The International Woodworking Fair Atlanta—North America’s oldest and largest global woodworking technology and design trade show and conference—has established a Cooperation Agreement with the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (EUMABOIS) for the purpose of expanding IWF’s global reach and enhancing its services extended to the European woodworking industry. Under the Cooperation Agreement, IWF becomes the sole North American woodworking trade show designated as a EUMABOIS-supported exhibition. IWF and EUMABOIS collaborative efforts will encompass strategic joint marketing communications initiatives executed for the mutual benefit of their respective customers and constituencies.

Founded in 1960, EUMABOIS is a non-profit organization aimed at promoting the European Woodworking Machinery Industry, primarily by bringing together national sectoral associations, but also individual companies without officially appointed bodies. Guided by principles of cooperation, innovation, and technological advancement, the European Federation, whose scope covers more than 800 companies, strives to increase the attractiveness of woodworking machinery and foster its potential along the entire value chain.

IWF is North America’s oldest and largest global woodworking technology and design trade show and conference. In its most recent trade show staged August 23–26, 2022 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, IWF delivered the North American woodworking industry’s largest trade show and conference since 2018. IWF 2022 exhibits and displays occupied more than 663,000 square feet of the over 1.2 million square feet of all three GWCC buildings and the B/C exhibit hall. The show housed more than 900 exhibitors presenting operating machinery, services and supplies in more than 540 product categories. IWF 2022 produced a registered attendance of 25,524 with registrants drawn from every U.S. state and 92 countries and provinces. More than 77% of North America’s largest wood products manufacturers reporting billions in annual sales regularly do business with IWF.
