Kalesnikoff

Kalesnikoff Mass Timber is excited to reveal the expansion of its offerings, services, and team with the introduction of a third facility and new product lines which is worth of approx $34 million. This step reinforces Kalesnikoff’s role as a leader and innovator in responding to the growing and changing demands of the construction industry.

The initiative will not only augment the company’s current supply of superior local timber, harvesting operations, and manufacturing capabilities but also generate up to 90 new employment opportunities upon completion, providing sustained advantages for the local community and Kalesnikoff’s committed workforce.

The Kalesnikoff company history is an 80-year legacy and they are mostly renowned as North America’s most advanced, vertically-integrated, multi-species mass timber facility. Through their state-of-the-art 110,000 sf plant, they produce efficient, responsible and safe Cross-Laminated Timber panels (CLT), Glue-Laminated Timber panels (GLT), and Glulam beams that are innovating traditional building practices.

Engineered Wood Applications

Usages of mass timber range from single family homes to multi-residential and corporate headquarters.

Leading architects, engineers, designers and developers around the world, including here in North America, are increasingly seeking high-quality, custom mass timber products to create sustainable, safe and stunning energy-efficient architecture.

What made Kalesnikoff famous?

Since 1939, the Kalesnikoff family company has grown a legacy of trust and integrity. Inspired by forests, the wood experts have evolved through four generations of specialty timber manufacturing experience.

As North America’s most advanced, vertically integrated, multi-species mass timber manufacturer, Kalesnikoff offers a high degree of flexibility in products and services. The unique slow growth environment of our forests, in Canada’s beautiful West Kootenay mountains, allow them to harvest some of the highest quality fine-grained fibre in the world.

By leveraging their production facilities with the integrated timber supply, they are able to manage products, reduce waste, and optimise value in their natural resources. All the way from seedlings to solutions. Kalesnikoff team’s flexibility and creativity permits them to offer a variety of products in both custom and standard sizes.
