Kastamonu Entegre and Unilin Technologies have expanded their partnership with the addition of the waterproof technology Unicoat. With this new contract, Kastamonu becomes the first Turkish flooring company to acquire a license for the coating technology created by Unilin. With Kastamonu’s adoption, some of the biggest players in the market in North America, Europe, and Asia will now use the Unicoat technology. Unilin Technologies will showcase this innovative new product at TISE in Las Vegas, from January 31st – February 2, 2023
The Unicoat water-repellent coating seals the edges of wood-based flooring panels to prevent swelling and keeps liquids from seeping in between the joints. Over and above the minimal standards imposed by commonly acknowledged norms, Unicoat shields the floor from spillage.
Products be launched by February 2023
Kastamonu is all set to launch products incorporating this state-of-the-art technology by February 2023 and is planning to make the new products available both for export and the Turkish domestic market. Their choice for Unicoat shows that waterproof laminate becomes increasingly important.
