United States’ Cabinetworks Group has officially appointed Larry France as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective September 1, 2025. France, who has been serving in the role of interim CFO since December 27, 2024, brings over 20 years of financial expertise and leadership experience to the position. This announcement highlights Cabinetworks’ commitment to strengthening its financial leadership and driving growth in an increasingly competitive market.
Background on leadership and financial expertise
Larry France joined Cabinetworks Group in 2023 as the Senior Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). During his tenure, France quickly demonstrated his strong financial acumen and leadership skills. His successful leadership in driving operational improvements and strategic growth initiatives made him a natural choice for the permanent CFO position. In his interim role as CFO, France has already made significant contributions to the company’s financial health and operational effectiveness. Under his guidance, Cabinetworks has enhanced its decision-making processes, improved financial visibility, and streamlined operations. He has a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, improving process efficiencies, and driving financial excellence through data-driven Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and predictive reporting tools.
Jeff Jackson, CEO of Cabinetworks Group, praised France’s contributions, saying, “Larry has been an incredible asset to our team since taking over as interim CFO last year, and I’m pleased to welcome him into this permanent role. His expertise in the finance space, coupled with his experience as a finance executive for multiple private equity-owned companies, makes him truly invaluable to our team.”
During his time as Senior Vice President of FP&A, France led a team of 11 professionals responsible for traditional financial planning and reporting, as well as finance business partnerships with sales, marketing, and supply chain organizations. One of his most impactful initiatives was partnering with the supply chain team to create a more robust sales and operations planning process. This initiative improved the company’s forward revenue visibility and helped streamline operations through the creation of intuitive dashboards and predictive reporting. His focus on improving operational processes has not only enhanced financial visibility but also supported Cabinetworks in maintaining a competitive edge in the cabinetry industry. His leadership in refining financial forecasting and developing data-driven tools has set the stage for long-term strategic growth.
Previous experience and academic credentials
Before joining Cabinetworks Group, Larry France held several senior roles in financial planning and analysis at leading global manufacturing companies. He served as the Global Vice President of FP&A for Vertiv, where he led a team responsible for all global financial planning and reporting activities. During his time at Vertiv, France played a critical role in overhauling the company’s financial reporting infrastructure and implementing a long-range strategic financial planning process. He also partnered with company leadership to identify and execute operational improvements, contributing significantly to Vertiv’s financial growth during his tenure.
Before his role at Vertiv, France worked with DaimlerChrysler, Whirlpool, and other renowned manufacturing firms across various industries. His experience in diverse sectors provided him with a strong foundation in managing financial operations and driving value creation in complex environments.
Larry France holds two master’s degrees from Michigan State University: a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a Master’s in Chemical Engineering. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State, further enhancing his strong technical and analytical background. His educational foundation, combined with his extensive professional experience, positions him as a well-rounded leader capable of navigating both financial and operational challenges in the woodworking and manufacturing sectors.
