It all started as early as in 1954 when the businessman Willi Ledermann and the engineer Josef Störzer founded the company Ledermann & Co. The Leuco brand was born. Today after 65 years later, Leuco is one of the top brands in the sector. Leuco has a significant history of supplying carbide and diamond-tipped machine tools for wood and plastic processing.
With idea generation as their forte, over the years they have introduced an array of product range including circular saw blades, hoggers, bore-type and shank-type cutters, drills, clamping systems and inserts. Sharpening service, application consulting and service packages bundled under the term, “Tool management” complete the spectrum. Today the product of the brand is available in Australia, Belgium, England, Japan, Poland, Singapore, Thailand, Ukraine and Belarus. Sales and production subsidiaries are in China, France, Malaysia, Russia, Switzerland, South Africa and USA.
Recently at AWFS, Leuco was excited to celebrate its presence and success in North American market for 40 long years. They introduced exciting tools and figure protecting advanced saw blades for the regular users. This year’s AWFS in Las Vegas brought the ‘future into focus’ with exciting trends, innovations, equipment, tools and solutions catered to today’s modern woodworker. As one of North America’s largest woodworking trade shows the show offered a plethora of exciting opportunities. Leuco Tool Corporation themed our space, “Cheers to 40 Years” as Leuco celebrated 40 amazing years in North America this year.
