LP Building Solutions witnesses a leadership transition by appointing Nicholas Grasberger as Independent Board Chair

 Friday, January 30, 2026

LP Building Solutions-new appointment

Louisiana-Pacific Corporation (LP Building Solutions) has announced a series of Board of Directors changes that will take effect in February 2026, reinforcing its long-term leadership and governance strategy. The Board has elected F. Nicholas Grasberger III as independent Chairperson, effective February 19, 2026. His appointment follows the planned retirement of current Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer W. Bradley Southern, who will step down from the Board on the same date after a long tenure with the company.

Lead Independent Director Dustan E. McCoy said Grasberger brings extensive financial expertise and deep knowledge of LP’s business operations and strategic direction. Having served on the Board for more than six years, Grasberger is regarded as well positioned to guide the Board through its next phase of leadership.

Grasberger joined LP’s Board in 2019 and currently serves on the Compensation, Finance and Audit, and Governance and Corporate Responsibility Committees. Outside LP, he is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Enviri Corporation, a publicly listed provider of environmental solutions for industrial and specialty waste streams and technology services for the rail sector. Grasberger joined Enviri in 2013 as Chief Financial Officer, became President and CEO in 2014, and was appointed Chairman in 2018.

In a further move aligned with executive succession planning, the Board has appointed LP President and CEO-elect Jason P. Ringblom as a Class III director, also effective February 19, 2026. Ringblom is set to succeed Southern as CEO on that date, concluding a structured succession process led by the Board in collaboration with Southern.

Ringblom currently oversees LP’s global manufacturing and commercial operations and has played a key role in shaping the company’s growth strategy and operational integration. He joined LP in 2004 and has held several senior leadership positions, including Executive Vice President and General Manager of the company’s oriented strand board (OSB) and siding businesses.

The Board also confirmed that directors Ozey K. Horton Jr. and McCoy will retire effective May 1, 2026, coinciding with LP’s annual meeting of stockholders. Southern thanked both directors for their long-standing service, noting their contributions to LP’s governance, strategic oversight and sustained growth.

Following these changes, LP’s Board will consist of eight directors, including Ringblom and seven independent members. The updated Board structure reflects LP’s continued focus on strong corporate governance as it supports long-term value creation in the global building products industry.

Headquartered in Nashville, LP Building Solutions manufactures engineered wood products used by builders, remodelers and homeowners across North and South America, with a portfolio designed to support durable, energy-efficient and high-performance construction.
