Thermwood Corporation has unveiled the MAX5, a groundbreaking advancement in large-format 5-axis CNC routing. Engineered to handle the most challenging three-dimensional machining tasks, the MAX5 is perfect for manufacturing large to exceptionally large components across industries such as aerospace, marine, automotive, and construction.
From large molds to intricate structural components, the MAX5 offers unparalleled power, precision, and durability, establishing a new standard for high-performance CNC systems. It boasts a 9-foot vertical Z-axis clearance, widths of 10 or 15 feet, lengths up to 60 feet, a 17 HP liquid-cooled spindle, and a standard 6-position automatic tool changer, which can be expanded to 18 positions.
