MEM Industrial continues to strengthen wood industry

MEM Industrial 2022 continues to strengthen wood and furniture processing industry.

MEM Industrial 2022 is running from March 29 to 31 at the Citibanamex Center with the presence of 200 leading brands, five thousand visitors and a leading conference program in 9,500 sq m of exhibitor floor.

On the opening day, the Hon. Peter Tempel, Ambassador of Germany in Mexico; Bernd Rohde, Director of Hannover Fairs Mexico; Cristiano Massimo Pasini, Representative and Director of the Regional Office of the United Nations Organization (UNIDO) for Mexico and Central America.

Alberto Vazquez, President of the Mexican Association of Suppliers of the Wood Industry and Furniture (AMPIMM); Enrique Vargas, Deputy for the District of Huixquilucan; Jesus Hernandez, Coordinator in CDMX of CONAFOR; Marco Antonio Rufz, President of CANAINMA of Edomex; and blue Ogazon, Director of MEM Industrial, inaugurated the 2022 edition of MEM Industrial, the leading fair for the transformation of wood and furniture in Mexico, which takes place at the Citibanamex Center in the CDMX.

During his participation, the Hon. Peter Tempel pointed out that MEM Industrial is an important fair for strengthen trade relations between countries and, in particular, between Germany and Mexico. “Here we have the opportunity to seek new partners, be inspired by new ideas and grow our business. This fair is a sign of good German-Mexican relations. Trade between Mexico and Germany are still strong,” said Ambassador Peter Tempel, who recalled that Germany is, Currently, the third trading partner of Mexico.
