Microvellum is excited to welcome Mark Smith to Microvellum as our new Brand Ambassador.
Mark brings over 30 years of experience as an Industrial Technology Teacher and industry advocate, with a career dedicated to advancing technical education and bridging the gap between schools and the manufacturing workforce.

His passion for education and his deep understanding of wood product manufacturing have positioned him as a trusted voice in the industry.
Beyond the classroom, Mark has served in leadership roles with respected organizations such as WoodLINKS USA, the Woodwork Career Alliance (WCA), the Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers (AWFS), and the National Woods Board. He is a frequent contributor to advisory boards, education committees, and skills competitions, consistently advocating for the future of skilled trades
As Brand Ambassador, Mark will work alongside our Marketing and Education teams to amplify Microvellum’s voice across the industry, strengthen connections with schools, industry partners, and clients, and represent our brand in meaningful ways that align with our commitment to education, innovation, and the future of manufacturing in the wood industry.
