Microvellum welcomes Mel Swartz as the head of professional services

The software manufacturers, Microvellum popularly known for specializing in AutoCAD and other similar technologies, announced that that Mel Swartz has rejoined the company as the head of professional services.

 

Swartz, a fourth-generation woodworker rejoins Microvellum in the global support role to improve the system.  He stated, “I’m excited to be back at Microvellum, working with a team that is so dedicated to improving the lives of woodworkers through technology…” commented Swartz. “and I’m looking forward to helping our service team continue to exceed our client’s expectations.” He brings with him 20 years of experience in various phases of woodworking, such as commercial, residential production, organizational change, software integration, and then lead the global service and support teams of Microvellum. From now onwards he will supervise various stages of projects, from pre-sales scoping through to implementation, delivery, support and certification.

 

“We are at an exciting stage in our growth, where there’s a need for expansion of our management team to ensure we continue to meet the needs of our customers,” commented David Fairbanks, President of Microvellum Software. “Mel brings the right mixture of leadership and technical experience to the role, and we’re excited to have him part of our management team.” As a woodworking professional, Swartz has successfully led software implementations, planned and executed change management, and has helped many Microvellum users across the U.S maximize their software investments.
